For a nominal amount, the Regroupement acquired a large building belonging to the Hautes-Rivières School Board located at 245, 6th Avenue, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, in the Iberville sector.The renovation of the building has resulted in the development of an integrated service centre that includes several services offered to disabled people in the region and to the general population. The Sieur de Normandie Multifunction Centre offers apartments suitable for physically handicapped people who require 24-hour service, in addition to normal adapted accommodations and respite rooms. The centre also has a room for socio-cultural and community activities, and hosts the offices of organizations and services in the region such as Vie autonome Montérégie and L’Envol du Haut-Richelieu.

This major project was carried out thanks to the support of the Société d'habitation du Québec, the Hautes-Rivières Board of Education, the Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Richelieu and several other partners in the public and private sectors.
